The team of the Laboratory of Cellular Biophysics and Imaging develops interdisciplinary tools and methods in the interface of physics, engineering and neuroscience, with special expertise in MRI. 
Experimentally, on top of the use of different microscopy methods, the team develops methods in MRI and even MRI scanners, Theoretical studies include development of models relating to neuronal mechanics in homeostasis, following activity, or in pathological conditions.

In addition, our expertise in biophysical modeling has led us to develop Cell-Studio: a unique platform for agent-based modeling of complex biological systems, primarily the immune system.
