Prof. Uri Nevo
Principle Investigator

Prof. Nevo did all his academic degrees in the School of Physics and Astronomy in Tel Aviv University. He served as a postdoctoral Fulbright fellow in the NIH, in Bethesda, MD, and joined the Dept. of biomedical engineering  in TAU as a faculty member in 2009.

Prof. Nevo served as chairman of the Dept. of biomedical engineering from 2017 to 2021. Prof. Nevo’s primary academic achievements include the development of the theory of Ecoimmunity and the work on biomedical applications with a portable MRI system.

Co-founded the Agile MRI company.

Co-founded and heads the Colton Center of Autoimmunity in TAU

Leads the maSKILLim project (a LEAD project)

Co-founded & served as the first academic director of the President Peres' program for nurturing Israel's future scientists and inventors, Tel-Aviv University  (now, the Odyssey program, replicated to multiple universities)
